Quality and Environment Policy

It is a priority objective of the Manager of TEAMS to maintain and improve an integrated quality and environmental system, according to UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2008; UNE-EN 9100: 2010; UNE-EN ISO/ IEC 17025:2005, NadCap of non destructive tests (NDT) and tests on materials (MTL and NMMT), and ISO 14001:2004, the development of the methodology Lean and risk management, in order to comply with the quality demands of its customers, to continuously improve and to meet the environment respect. This Quality and Environment System is the guide to follow in the process of sustained development of the company.

To ensure this, Quality and Environment Policy will be adopted, which should serve as a support to achieve the objectives.

The protection of the environment plays an important role for the company’s objectives. In addition to the Management Commitment and the Quality Policy, there exists also the Environment Policy, in only one document. The environment protection is now a new objective of the company and requires of all of us a responsible behavior.

TEAMS promotes to its commitments a Quality Policy that:
 
  • Provide a test service that complies with the requirements set in the Standards UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2008, UNE-EN 9100:2010, UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and in the NadCap certification.
  • Continue to maintain as a major research premises the investigation, upgrading and internationalization, using the necessary resources in research to achieve a balanced improvement of our services.
  • Ensure that the quality perceived by the customer is equaled compared to the expected one.
  • Ensure strict application of legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Encourage initiatives by our staff incurred on improving the procedures and processes.
  • Comply with the Quality Policy established to monitor compliance with the provisions set out in full in the Quality Manual for the achievement of the objectives.
  • Allow all staff of the company to be familiar with the contents of the manual and to follow the actions set out therein. The Quality Manager is responsible for the implementation of the Quality System in the Laboratory and the Technical Director for overseeing the implementation.
  • Generate corrective and or preventive actions necessary to achieve the continuous improvement.
  • Verify compliance with the Quality System through internal audit.
  • Safeguard the health and safety of our workers.
  • Develop and review periodically the quality objectives.
  • Regularly review the appropriateness of this Quality Policy.

 

TEAMS promotes to its commitments a Environment Policy that:

 

  • We understand the environmental protection as an important responsibility of management and we ensure that it is carried out through specific goals and guidelines for behavior in all functions and areas of business. Environmental protection requires all of us behave responsibly.
  • We understand the reduction of the environmental impacts, created by consumption of paper, water and energy and the waste generation, as the main task of our management policy. Therefore TEAMS bases its environmental objectives on the reduction of the mentioned environmental impacts which are periodically reviewed as well.
  • Our commitment of continuous improvement and pollution prevention comply with the requirements of the standard UNE EN ISO 14001:2004 and focus our efforts to a higher environment compatibility of the applied process techniques. Therefore we take into account the most ecological final management of the used products and we use raw materials, energy and water with utmost moderation and consideration.
  • Through the appointment of a management leader, we guarantee the consideration of legal requirements, applicable in terms of environmental protection during company’s decisions and their applications by means of measures, which they consider. We commit ourselves openly to the compliance of the legal requirements as well as to other adopted requirements.
  • We inform and train our employees, as well as those who act in our name about environment aspects, bounded to our activity and their functions, and we encourage them to adapt their conduct in the workplace to reflect this increased environmental awareness. Furthermore we make available the information of the environmental relevance about our company.
  • The Management as well as each employee is responsible for the correct and efficient development of the guidelines and environmental objectives in the management system. The environmental programs drawn up each year on the basis of this shared responsibility ensure continuous improvement in environmental protection.

 

Also, the laboratory will not take part in activities that could threaten confidence in their competence, impartiality, operational integrity or trial. The Quality and Environment Management Manual and its procedures are the tangible demonstration of the interest of the Laboratory Management for further improvement of the activities of the area.
